GFX Con Computer Round 1: SSJ vs Kamoc
Once again here are the rules:
Completely Computer:
1: You may use any program you have (Photoshop, Psp7, POVray, 3dstudiomax, Bryce, Maya, etc), so long as it doen't produce the picture for you.
2: You may NOT produce ANY part of the image on any medium outside of your computer. No hand drawing anything.
3: Try to get your image down to smaller than 1024x768 (only in terms of area, so if it's something like 800x800 thats fine), if you cannot, then simply post a text link to your entry so as to avoid horrid forum stretching.
4: Your work must be done completely by you. NO RIPPING IMAGES. You may use pictures of anime/game characters, etc. But the work must be at least 50% original. If you're unsure as to whether or not your image is acceptable, PM me.
5: You image may not be larger than 1 meg, if you're having trouble abiding by this rule, PM me and I'll give you a few pointers on image compression.
6: NO ANIMATED ENTRIES. I'm sorry, but this is all about still pics.
7: Your name/alias must be somewhere on the picture.
Note that all pairings were picked randomly by an anonymous friend who knows none of you and has seen none of your art, and thus is completely unbiased.
You have until Wednsday at noon EST to post your entries. The voting is open to everyone excluding those involved in the current match (so as to avoid self voting and whatnot). Each round until the finals will be decided by who reaches 10 votes first after both entries are posted. The finals will be first to 20.

Wait, so if 40 people like one but aren't online whilst 10 like the other and are online, that one wins?SSJVegita0609 wrote:You have until Wednsday at noon EST to post your entries. Is there a better way of doing this? Perhaps a timed one? I suppose that does have the disadvantage of making the whole thing lasting longer, though...

I've tried doing it both ways and found that the scenario that you describe of 10 people who happen to like one are online whilst 40 people like the other just plain doesn't happen.
I like this way better in that it minimizes the likelyhood of last minute cheating, and also it makes the game more intense
