I use Behringer myself, even then you couldn't tell much difference unless you're an audiophile.

I always thought that the deal with Behringer was that it sounds great until it breaks -- at which point anyone can tell the difference.Vivaldi wrote:Skullcandy's just as good as sennheiser or sony.

D: well I guess you should stay away from low end behringer then. still don't say much about skullcandies.AaronAMV wrote:audiophile
D: hasn't happend to me yet, I've only had them for a little under a year. They have slightly muted upper tones, but great sound for the price.Scintilla wrote:I always thought that the deal with Behringer was that it sounds great until it breaks -- at which point anyone can tell the difference.Vivaldi wrote:Skullcandy's just as good as sennheiser or sony.

Re: Cheap skullcandy
uh, no, Sennheiser in my experience is far superior to sony, at least in my affordable price range. Sony tends to be more pricey for quality stuff though, so its possible that their more expensive stuff is as good.Vivaldi wrote: Skullcandy's just as good as sennheiser or sony.
I've always used Sennheiser since discovering them, and love em. Balanced clear sound, not too much bass, and just the right levels of mids and highs. makes mp3s sound like garbage though unless 320kbps or better ;p (as does any high quality headphone)
