I use Behringer myself, even then you couldn't tell much difference unless you're an audiophile.

I always thought that the deal with Behringer was that it sounds great until it breaks -- at which point anyone can tell the difference.

(And that they've been sued for ripping off designs.)

D: hasn't happend to me yet, I've only had them for a little under a year. They have slightly muted upper tones, but great sound for the price.

uh, no, Sennheiser in my experience is far superior to sony, at least in my affordable price range. Sony tends to be more pricey for quality stuff though, so its possible that their more expensive stuff is as good.

I've always used Sennheiser since discovering them, and love em. Balanced clear sound, not too much bass, and just the right levels of mids and highs. makes mp3s sound like garbage though unless 320kbps or better ;p (as does any high quality headphone)
