Operation Introduction

Here is the deal;

I am proposing an MEP comprised of fan made anime opening sequences. The catch is that you must us the anime the song is featured in as the source and the music must be the same as that which is used in the orginal. In short, if you have a full version of the song, you may only use
the portion used in the anime. Also, all anime can be used as long as it has a free opening song. Once all the opening songs for the anime are taken, the anime cannot be used again. I feel this will add an additional
challenge to any editors who may actually join this.

Rules and Guidelines

1) Must use EXACT song from the original opening
-length (usually about 1:30)
-lyrics
-no cuts from other portions of the song
-if anime has an english and japanese opening (like Kiddy Grade) you may use either

2) Must use the anime the song is attached to (you do not have to use footage from the opening)

3) If an anime has multiple openings, the anime can be used ONCE per opening

ex:
Kaleido Star OP 1: Take It Shake It <Taken>
Kaleido Star OP 2: Yokusoku no Basho e <Taken>
Kaleido Star OP 3: Tattoo Kiss <Taken>
Kaleido Star cannot be used again

ex
Dragonball Z OP 1 : Cha-La-Head-Cha-La
Dragonball Z OP 2 : We Gotta Power<Taken>
Dragonball Z CAN be used again

4) a-m-v.org content rules apply

5) Footage should not include any text or subtitles except for the anime logo

6) An Editor may contribute up to three (3) videos. However, each video must be of a different anime

7) Video Formatting (If you have to use another format, let me know

Encoding: Huffyuv compressed Xvid
Resolution: 720X480 or 640X480
Frames Per Second: 29.97fps
Others: Please Deinterlace and clean up the footage before submission. I'll try to fix any quality problems that may remain.

And actually, i might do Utena as well, but i have to find out the information of it >.>

I wanna join but I'd hate to like put in all the effort and then it end up being cancelled cause not enough ppl join :T that and I've got encoding issues so I can only encode in like DIVX. WEll I hope it turns out well!

I might have been too rough on the cancellation part. I thought about it and if it is going to deter people, I'd rather it not be in there. So the cancellation thing is gone. Second, if you want to use DivX, you may. I perfer Xvid but I'll make exceptions if necessary. So if you want to still join, you can and the DivX is fine.

Id like to do Ouran high school host club's song Sakura Kiss.

my only problem that i can think of is that i only think i know how to do all this.

If you need any help with it, let me know. It is actually pretty simple. And you are added to the list.
