- I Guess 2013-08-05 03:29:35 It's pretty interesting running into another person that does AMVs personally in the real world. It's an opportunity that rarely happens if I mention that I make them that the person responds that they do as well. Such an occurrence took place earlier at work with a customer and it made for nice conversation. He was just starting out and was a little impressed when I told him that I've been doing it for 7 years now (wow, time sure flies). He showed me his first and it was pleasant to see that he had quite a bit of potential, a sense of timing and scene selection that I liked albeit being quite rough. I was glad to see that when I directed him to the org that he already knew of its existence and I encouraged him to peruse the site more and it would help him with a lot. Now to get him off using downloaded footage with distracting subtitles...

Late response but it's a fashionable one...maybe. But the combo is Rebuild of Evangelion and Radioactive. Going to definitely go through with it since I know it's not going to come out the same regardless and no idea why I even thought of scrapping it all. -

Started up editing something and within the past two days, actually managed to get more than 50% of it in a state of completion, or at least on the timeline. Hoping to have it completed within the next two days, hopefully. Decided to check out other AMVs that have used the song already and came across one by the one and only Ileia which actually utilizes the same footage that I am working with. Started watching a little of it but immediately stopped a few seconds in because I did not want to get influenced but honestly, was very close to scrapping upon this discovery but decided to keep on working at it. No sense quitting just because the combo was done already, ashamed of myself for even having the thought.
In other news: Scribblenauts Unlimited is amazing. - Cool Stuff Happening 2012-08-31 04:56:20 So I blew off the dust off Sony Vegas and started her up again. Started working on a track for a MEP that I honestly should have started some time ago, some long, long, long time ago. Have been listening to music all day, nothing new, but this time listening to music that I have intentions of editing with. Might try my hand at the Upbeat/Dance craze.
