  • Profile: Im Bobby, I'm a huge anime fan, ever since I was 2 and I used to watch Voltron, and Transformers and Robotech later. My Uncle got me into anime at an early age and explained what it was to me. But back then it wasn't even called anime, and only a small cirlce of people knew about and liked it. Back then we still just called it "Japanese Animation" Then came then I remember a few more shows coming over like Teknoman/Tekkaman Blade then cartoon network picked up sailormoon after Fox dumped it and they brought in a whole block of anime. Thats when the big US anime craze started I guess, Sailor Moon, Dragonball Z, Pokemon.
    I remember when Pokemon first came over to the US, I was a freshmen in highschool, and it was actually very popular and not the butt of every joke it is now, but it also wasn't as cheezy and alot of the little seriousness that was in the story has been washed away along with what made it decent. So now I lead the cracking on it, however i still like the games. Now Dragonballz, this is a great anime, but the plot never seems to twist, its very predictable, something that Americans new to anime don't seem to mind, it lacks alot of story but makes up for it with amazing effects and action. But True anime fans aren't dragonballz crazed because they know there's alot better out there. DBZ's success in Japan, much like alot of other anime, was based on its overall family content, something for everyone. Anyway I forgot this is a profile not an editorial. Anyway I like to make music videos about anime and i prefer serious drama, but i dont leave out action. I'm a bit new at this and all of my software is free, but I'm hoping that won't stop me from becoming one of the best! I would say that my Heero and Relena Tribute is one of my favorite Anime Music Videos I've produced
