  • Profile: C'est moi, Ayame! AKA Cait^^. Currently, I am a college student with an unhealthy obsession with Yaoi, Bishonen and, um, Anime in general. I really like making AMVs, even if they're really bad. (Case in point "Naruto's Fast") As if a punishment from G.O.D, my computer has eaten it's Windows Movie Maker, making it currently impossible for me to make any new material. ::sigh::

    Um, lets see... currently on my computer, I have Naruto, episodes 151-161, about half of Excel Saga (I can't find the rest anywhere! RAR!) and Damekko Doubutsu. I haven't seen any AMVs for Damekko Doubutsu, and I was going to make one, but, as I said, my movie maker's on the blink.

    My likes include Anime, Yaoi, Manga, Role Playing and reading.
    I dislike people who can't type in proper English, requiring a Ghetto-to-English dictionary to get any idea of what's being said. Look, I have no problem with typing slang, saying "gotta", "wanna", "lol" and other forms of sloppy English, but typing completely in abrieviations, SIMPLE words misspelled right and left, and replacing words like 'heard' and 'come' with 'herd' and 'cum'. I don't know about you, but the term 'herd' to me just means a group of horses, and 'cum' means something completely different altogether. ::shakes head in disgust::

    Okay, confession time. "Keep on Fighting; Anime Dreamers GO!" was not my first ever project using WMM. The first was a movie entitled "Who am I?" for Human Struggles. However, I used most of the footage and the song from "Who am I?", save all the real pictures I don't have permission to use. I'm very proud of both of them though, they're like my first babies.

    In rank order of how much I like them, My AMVs go like this:

    Life of the Uchiha Avenger - FINALLY, this video gets to take it's rightful place at the top of the list. After many attempts and near crashes, the skip is GONE! WHOOHOO!!

    Damekko Hast - Sorry, Fighting Dreamers, but Damekko is just better. I love this video! It's so... well... it's cute animation, but then it's angry music! And I think it actually fits together okay! Gah! Sorry about the subtitles. Try to ignore them as best you can, as with all my videos.
    Okay, I'm getting comments about the subtitles. Quote: "Never-NEVER-leave subtitles in your video". I believe I disclaimered that here. I don't have it in a raw form, I can't FIND it in a raw form, and I only have WMM to work with. Gimme a break, I'm working on it. I'm a poor college student, I can't afford that much recreational software. When there comes a time that I can correct it, I will.

    Keep Fighting - first child, novelty of the first

    Tch, Can't Touch Gojyo - I made this as a response to some video I saw on Youtube, and thought I could do better. I like it better than Vindicate me and the others, but I'm not really all that proud of it. People've told me it doesn't really make sense. (T_T) Oh well. It was fun to make, so there's the justification, right?

    Vindicate Me - I made this because a friend requested it be made. She sent me several songs and fanart pictures and said "Make it." Well, I think she wanted something more like a slideshow or something, but I can't content myself with simple slideshows. It took a lot of work and editing and trying to fit some form of plot to the movie, so I'm not saying I hate it. But I think it fell apart by then end, and it's not really all that spectacular. I think it's painfully obvious by the end that I was simply bored with the project. Given the option of doing it over, I don't think I would. But then, I usually have more material to use in an AMV, right? If I ever did remake it, I'd wait until I had more actual anime to put in, instead of just random bits. - Don't get me wrong, I think there's more anime than stills in the movie.

    Honda in Wonderland - this wasn't really my baby... I was just it's surrogate mother. Kinda like being impregnated with someone else's fetus just through the birth. I made it, I put it together, but it was supervised by the original creator, made on her computer and with her materials. It still beat out Fast

    Naruto's Fast - the mutant cousin we keep locked in the attic. It seemed like a good idea at the time... but it just didn't live up to expectation. ::sighs:: and then there was the abusive comment I wrote in response to a criticism. The critic's opinions were valid and I took them the complete wrong way, and reamed the guy... only to look back a week later and see that he was completely right! So embarrassing. I'm appologising to him right here, in case he didn't read the edit to the comment I wrote him. ::shakes head in self loathing::
