  • Profile: I'm surprised I actually ever began making AMVs. I had always shrugged and turned away from the idea because I assumed it was above my level and not worth all the time to make. But after over four months of using this site and seeing some awesome AMVS (check my top AMV list) I decided I had to at least try. Over a month and a half passed between when I first began experimenting and learning about the process and when I uploaded "The World of Lukuss" being my first completed non-test project, and I am quite happy with it. My computer has really been overhauled since then, with a whole range of new software and that lovely Windows Service Pack 2 which included the major upgrade of Windows Movie Maker which I still had not upgraded honestly from that horrific older version. I had planned earlier on trying ULead VideoStudio 8 but decided that it'd be better to at least try Windows Movie Maker to see if I really had the passion for AMV-making before spending the money. I definately do have the motivation to keep learning at the process and thus (hopefully) putting together better and better AMVs as I go along. I like using anime titles that haven't been used much and I really like being the only creator to use a certain song. That being said, I'm more than happy to use whatever anime or song if I have a good idea that needs it.

    UPDATE:

    I doubt I'm going to make any AMVS from here on out. I'm a casual viewer now and would rather do other things than edit. I have serious respect for the AMV pros out there. You guys make some amazing videos.
