- Profile: Born aboard an USAF C-130 aircraft, raised in Misawa (northern Honshuu, Japan), and let loose upon the world, Rob Miles -- the United States' only true "anime superstar" has been an active part of the anime community since the late 1970's. An old-school DJ (vinyl and turntables) turned music producer, Rob working under the guise of "R2K" worked up a series of hip-hop based anime dance hits working with SNM Productions (DJ's Socket and Mod, Producer Nessie Kwik). Turning his attentions towards video in 1997, Rob found success with his first video. a classic retelling of the storyline from "Wings of Honneamise" to the music of Seal's "If I Could" from his second album. In later years, Rob has been known to provide video on the fly for nightclub events as well as serve as a consultant to numerous professional directors. producers, and music artists who seek to use anime as part of the music video medium...
