• Comments: Hmm...where to start...well, to be honest, I was a little leery of even -making- a Full Metal Alchemist video, much less putting in online. I usually steer clear of the more popular shows, if only because I tend to get thrown off by their fanbase. But when I fall for something, I fall hard, and this was no exception. Everything; characters, story, art, music; so much love. So, you see, I didn't really have choice, right? Oh, who am I kidding, I'm a sucker for gorgeous guys, and man, there are a lot of them...but enough of my drooling.
  
  Be warned. This video is practically -made- of spoilers. Now, they're quite disjointed, so unless you already know what you're looking for, they might not even register all that much, but still. Spoilers. In fact, I'm probably gonna spill stuff in this very info, so heads up.
  
  Now. On to the thought behind the product.
  
  It took me a while to finally find a song that I thought would fit, but as I was skimming through the music I had, I re-found 'This Isn't What We Meant', and that was it. I went and found the lyrics, and as I was reading them through, I was literally checking each line off as perfect. Even the title. The concept was pretty straight-forward. Ed, Al, Roy, Izumi, even Roze, they all had something they wanted to do. For Ed and Al, it was to bring back their mother, but Al lost his body, and Ed lost his arm and leg. Roy wanted to become Fuhrer so that he would no longer have to follow orders that were obviously wrong, but he turned a blind eye to the corruption in the military for too long and his closest friend was killed. Izumi wanted to reverse her miscarriage, and the remains of her child became a homunculus. Roze wanted her lover back, and was completely fooled by a bogus priest. None of these things seemed harmful to anyone in any way, but in each case, things went horribly wrong. Hence, this wasn't what they meant to happen. Cheesy, I know, but it fit wonderfully.
  
  I spent a -lot- of time of this. I worked for about a full week straight while on vacation, and got about half of it done. Seriously. I woke up at six in the afternoon, got something to eat, sat down, and worked straight through until around nine or ten in the morning, then slept. Rinse. Repeat. For a week. Then I got back home, and fell completely off track. A while later, I visited family for another week, and just about finished it. This time, when I go home, I sat down and worked out the rest of it. There are still quite a few things that I want to go back and fix, but that's for another time.
