GenkiGenki's second video approximately marks the anniversary of GenkiGenki's first video! Yeehaw!
"The Story ( so far )" was intended from the start to be in opposition to my first effort "Omega." Whereas the latter was meant to showcase the sense of drama, tragedy, suffering and power inherent in the source material, this new one is just stupid.
As soon as I saw PuniPuni Poemii, I knew I would have to make a video to it, but just couldn't think of an artist whose work would fit with its ludicrous velocity.
As soon as I heard Melt-Banana's latest ("Teeny Shiny"), I knew I would have to make a video to it, but just couldn't think of a series that could capture its sense of speed, energy and abandon.
At some point, a handful of atrophied neurons finally deigned to fire and "The Story ( so far )" was born.
This video premiered at Anime North 2001. Sadly, the sound system managed to completely destroy the song. *sigh*
