Aside from drama and fun, I've always wanted to try a video that doesn't focus on one of the 2 categories but rather tries to apporach sentimentally. It was also in kind of a good time for a change from the usual dancey stuff I was creating over the past years, since not only friends and studio members but random people in quick comments were trying to suggest I should do something else :P

Futakoi Alternative was a nice suprise and twist among most recent Anime series, I would say one of the most original series I've seen. I've also been listening to Mad Caddies stuff for some time and thought it was a pretty good fit, especially this song stuck into my mind.

As said, I mostly wanted to go for a sentimental feeling created through both fun and drama. I don't really know if I succeded there, but at least I like the video :) Though the editing was kind of hard, I had this video going for a long time (began in December) and got often interrupted in editing it, and my motivation for it was quite often not really high, especially when I searched over 1 hour again for a fitting scene. Nontheless I also had my fun during editing and it was an interesting apporach at something different which it should be after all ;)
The video tells a little story, not too obvious as it's more focused around sentimentality. There are some random scenes inbetween on purpose.

    ! Playback Help !
The video is encoded with x264, a relatively new codec which is up to 35% more efficient in compression as XviD. To play it back you need either:

VLC - A standalone player with no requirements for any additional codec. Attention: You have to use version 0.8.4 or higher if you already have VLC, it doesn't work properly in earlier ones.

CCCP - Consists of the Haali splitter for making the mp4 readable and a special version of the decoder ffdshow for decoding the video. With this you can play the video in any player you want :)

Unfortunately x264 takes more processing power to play back. I tried my best to compromise this and it *should* run on a 800 Mhz processor minimum. If you still can't play it pack properly, then and only then get the XviD version on the direct link.

Huge thanks to Herbert West for some great suggestions and to zero1 for some encoding help :)

    Programs used:
Sony Vegas Video 6.0 for all of the editing except
Particle Illusion 3.0 for illuminating street lights in one scene
Adobe Photoshop 7.0 for one Rotoscope
    Adobe After Effects 6.5 for adding glow to one scene (w00t, i r l33t :o !1)

    Have fun :)
