  This is the first half of a two-parter video that i plan on finishing at a later time.
  
  and i've changed my mind about where i'm going with this. i originally planned to make the second half of this vid about edward's personal life. but i have another video in mind that will take me in that direction by itself. so instead i'm going to stick with the military perspective on the series and thereby unrestricting the title "Life of a Dog" from just edward, to include the entire military. in other words, the story's not just about edward anymore. since this half more/less introduces edward into the military, it's bright and cheery and is more about the glamor of it all, i want the second half to focus more about what it means to be a dog of the military; more of a tutorial flame is giving fullmetal. that there's pain, frustration, all because you put your trust in the wisdom of your superior officers.
  
  i may eventually upload a better quality version of this with the interlacing fixed, but it'll be when i have the free time and motivation to do it.
