Given this is a fairly short video, the write-up will be correspondingly short. For once. :P
Cliffs Notes on the Oft Forgotten Ghibli came about almost entirely because I needed a creative distraction while trying to work on another project that I was bogged down on. The concept was simple as was the planned (and largely the actual) execution, and I am pretty happy with the results. It wasn't designed to be anything groundbreaking, just a short, cute video using a beautiful song (the Arjuna OST by Yoko Kanno is full of great music) and a movie I love but rarely gets any attention (it's apparently not even part of the Disney/Ghibli deal, likely owing to its being a TV movie). Very few if any effects were used, with most of the attention being on internal sync and the overall flow of the video.
