  The Concept:
  I was sort of branching out a bit here. Usually, I tend to tell a story with my videos, or focus on profiling a character. For example, 'Hindsight' mostly told a condensed version of Full Metal Alchemist, while 'Letting Go' was all about Jr. and his brother from Xenosaga. This time, though, I wanted to make something more universal, a theme that was easier to appreciate, even if the viewer has no prior knowledge of the anime.
  
  In 'Faith', the theme is optimism, looking ahead past all the trouble and hardships of the present, because even if it's tough right now, it'll get better soon. It won't always be a struggle. Find the silver lining in every storm cloud; even it it's hard to see, it's there. It's such a simple idea, but I always thought it was something fundamental.
  
  The Process:
  Now I wasn't -nearly- as single-minded when it came to this video as I was with 'Letting Go', but that doesn't mean I liked this one any less. 'Letting Go' was done practically all in one sitting, while this project was a bit more spread out. From placing the first clip to final export, about a month and a half passed, and I'd actually worked on it for around 65-70 hours. The stanzas were done first, then I built around them, which isn't usually how I work, but that's what I felt like doing this time. This first twenty seconds of the song were actually the last twenty seconds I edited! I tried (how successful I was is yet to be seen) to mostly use clips that could convey a feeling without the viewer necessarily needing to have any idea of what was actually going on in that scene. You guys'll have to let me know if it worked out.
