• Comments: When I First Saw Full Metal Panic, I knew I wanted to make a MV with it. The only thing I didn't know was the song I was going to use. I've looked through a few of my albums, Our Lady Peace, A Perfect Circle, Nightwish, but I didn't really think they would fit real well. Except for a few songs of Nightwish, but I didn't go with these because I didn't want it to be a clone of Rubyeye's ShellShock. When looking tv one Wednesday night I heard the song 30 Seconds to Mars - Capricorn. when I heard this song I went looking for the Album Straight Away. And when I heard the song Edge of the Earth I Finally Knew my search for a good song for my next mv was over.
  
  Shortly after that I started editing, I tried to use some effects I learned out of my last mv and Perfect them. For example the white flashes, I used these to bring out the best of the Drum roles. I didn't make these Flashes to Bright, we don't want anyone running and screaming out of a con Because the saw my mv, now don't we :D. In some scenes I chose to use Black Flashes instead of White because they would fit better, but you’ll see that when watching it for your self.
  
  When I had done about 1 and a half minutes of my mv disaster stroke, and my monitor blew up. While waiting for a new one I had to do with a 15 inch which Letter boxed to about 13 “ and I couldn't change it up. So while I had this puny thing I didn’t really feel like editing :p. So I had a little break here. When I got my new 17 “ Samsung SyncMaster I was ready to start again, And with the new speakers I bought with it I could hear about every bass in the song so Editing was no problem anymore.
  
  On a few spots in the mv I tried to bring a little rest in all the action, so you’ll have a little breather every once and a while.
  
  One thing that gave me a few headaches where some subtitles I had to get rid off. The Subtitles were Located here: 1:21 and here: 2:44. I thought to do it the proper way and export all the frames and get rid of them manually by editing each frame, I had to edit about 90 pics (HELL) but when I was finished I was really happy with the results, I can’t see a thing, you?
  
  A thing I would like to point out is 3:55. Here I tried to bring forth is the ‘Love/Hate Relationship’ Sagara Sousuke and Kaname Chidori have, I hope this came Through well.
  
  I also tried another thing that's quite new to me, I used both normal and text based timing. I think both are vital for a good mv and since I’ve only done real timing before and not much text based, I tried to pound this in my head as much as I can so it will come naturally in next mvs. I think I got the hang of it now so expect more of that in Future Mvs.
  
  When I was about half way through my mv I ‘Discovered’ a new neat little effect for my self. Negative Image. I knew before this it could be done, but what I found out is if you use these in flashes, just like the white flash thing I was talking about, And you Combine these 2 you can really have good results.
  
  When I was finished editing , just before christmas, I tried to put my mv online on Christmas day, but due to some problems with encoding I ended off encoding the darn thing about 10 times, each time a new problem exposed itself.
  Each time lasted about 2 hours so you do the math why I couldn’t release it on Christmas day :p
