Technically speaking, this is a minor achievement in my early years of editing. I took two versions of *NSYNC's "Bye Bye Bye," the instrumental and the regular vocal version, and spliced them together. It was an experiment with audio on my part, and I think I learned from the process. I always used to get emails from people asking "where did you get that version of that song?" and I took pride in replying "I edited it myself!". The reason I edited the song in this way is kinda cheap: I knew a lot of the lyrics in Bye Bye Bye did not pretain to the video idea I was trying to convey (which was basically, the twin Androids against Trunks through multiple timelines), so I got rid of the romance-breakup lyrics by putting the instrumental versions of those lines on top. Cheating, yes, but I must say it's kinda clever.
I thought, other than the fact that the song is about a breakup, it could also relate to the relationship between these three characters. So, I used it. In an odd way, it kinda works.
As for the video itself, I used to not be able to get enough of Trunks and those wacky Androids, so I decided to make a music video about their recurring battles. It's painfully simple, but I really enjoying making this video, and the final product, when I originally made it.
Like many of my Trunks videos, this one has also seen many revisions. I have a total of three re-edits of this video floating around. That said, only this version and my most recent version of this video will be in my profile, since the second one is barely better than the original.
