• Comments: Well, one month later and I have released another video. “How did you do it so quick?” you might ask. Well this video was started before my concept for my last video was even in my mind. I began editing this video back around the middle of August. I had edited almost all of the video before I started Collapse. The reason I didn’t finish this was that I felt I had run out of footage for the rest of the song and wanted to think over how to do it. I remember at one point saying I was going to finish this video in December on my Winter Break, which is what has actually happened. To finish the video I ended up cutting the song a little over a minute short. The reason being is that there was going to be another buildup in the song and I had pretty much used all the footage that could have worked from my concept. So I decided to make the video more abrupt and feel like it was unresolved. I wanted to make it seem like this is just a taste of Tetsuo’s life.
  
  The core concept of this video was to show Tetsuo’s inner-conflict. How ever since he was a child he never felt like he was good enough and lived in Kaneda’s shadow. The video is attempting to show how he decides to use the power he receives from Akira to become more powerful then he ever imagined and how he takes the easy way out which is what the “Cheating Gets It Faster” line inspired. I really wanted to focus on mainly Tetsuo, although I do add in other people such Kaori and Kaneda to show how they affect his mental condition and how he chooses the same path even with them urging him not to.
  
  This video took so long to finish and so many re-edits that no matter what response I have to it, I am going to love the fact that I finished it. Albeit an abridged version of the original song it still tells the same story that I wanted to and I believe the abrupt ending adds to the dramatic effect of the video.
