  The idea for this video initially came from Mes^2. He basically commented that it would be funny if someone used that scene where Kaneda's laser gun runs out of batteries during a video to the song Metallica. This of course got me thinking and I decided to make a parody of the old Energizer commercials of the 90's (the ones with the bunny like him vs. Darth Vader and the lightsaber dies). I took the same premise, but instead the video essentially runs out of juice because it's not powered by Energizer. This of course allowed me to use cheezy motion effetcts and overlays (which I apologize for).
  
  As for editing, I had to make the video "appear" to be an action video. Basically it had to be edited well enough so that the viewer would be surprised once the video stopped and the punchline hit. I for one will be the first to admit that the video is nothing close to a good action video, but again it only had to be "good enough" and I am lazy :-P.
  
  Surprisingly, I finished this video in 12 hours. I know this sounds *really* bad since most editors (including myself) put months into a project. However, keep in mind the song isn't even 2 minutes (since I cut it down) and, again, I only had to make it "good enough." The main motivation on finishing so quickly was because our Anime Club (I was Secretary of Univ. of Illinois Anime Club...yay JAC) was tomorrow and I really wanted to get it on our breaktape for the next day (breaktapes are where we show a bunch of AMVs, we've probably show your stuff). Now, I only had 12 hours and for some odd reason, I actually pulled it off. Another motivation was that ACen was the next weekend and I needed to get it done and get opinions that Saturday since I would not get any other chance before the con.
