This is my first AMV, but not the first thing I've ever edited. It took me a long time to finally make it, as I've had the idea since the summer of 2005.
It's a fairly long video (6 min) because it's actually 2 songs put together. However, the songs are companion pieces and are meant to be heard back to back. I cut the second song at what I felt was an appropriate place so that the video is not quite as long as it would have been (around 9 min). The video requires a little patience, but I think it offers something a little different and I'm fairly happy with how it came out.
It's a little hard to put this AMV into a genre, it's a combination of character profile, romance, drama, and action. I think it's probably best described as a character profile.
