- Comments: Gankutsuou is one of my favorite anime of all time. I heard this song on the radio one day and realized it fit the description of The Count perfectly. Part of the reasoning for making this is that Gankutsuou flips the perspective of The Count of Monte Cristo to Albert; making Edmond appear to be a villian for the majority of the series. With this video I decided to focus on the count and his motives and show the story from his perspective. The outro of the song is cut a bit because it takes a long time for it to fade out and I felt that the video would drag on for it so I manually faded it out early.
