Actually I have to confess that I made this for a school project and AWA (Split screen was the nature of the assignment) and AWA was just an opportunely-timed bonus. Regardless, I probably wouldn't have gotten it done otherwise.
Possibly of note is that I edited this on an Avid system. also did some masking work in after effects. I realize the quality isn't outstanding, most of the footage has been compressed a couple of times over since I had to letterbox the footage via AE to get it to look right in the Avid in the first place. (Turns out lagarith isn't as lossless as it claims to be).
Not much else to say. Got nothing at AWA, but it wouldn't have even if they DID get the full version so it's not a big concern.
Also special thanks to Yokou Seishirou for providing me some footage I needed. The instrumental part in the middle would have been very thin without your help :P
This video has won no awards, but I did get 100% on that project (yay)
Also, I would like point out that this was entered to AC Cubed 2007, but there wasn't a checkbox beside it in the con database here, so I couldn't list that under con participation :|
