Part of the Video Games IV Project. A project I was very happy to see return recently. Since with each project I like to move up a generation on gaming then that put me to the Gamecube. I never actually played the original Skies of Arcadia (never owned a dreamcast) but the Gamecube version is absolutely fantastic. The RPG was original and featured pirates in the sky, all kinds of awsome. As far as series choice goes, my original idea was One Piece and use the Skypia arc (the connection should be obvious). Not to mention that the song is actually a mix of the jungle theme from Skies which makes it an even better fit.
The raeson for the switch was mostly because One Piece was beign ruined by 4kids at the time and I had no access to good quality OP footage of Skypia. So digging through my choices I inevitably whent with the flight based anime Last Exile (one of the best shows I've ever seen). In actuality this worked better because I coudl show a comparison of flight images wheras in One Peice I would not have been able to do this. So I took the theme of just keeping up the idea of flight and adventure, two key things in both stories and used imagery to synchronize the two to create one cohesive video.
