• Comments: This project is a parody that was created for the Challenge Category in the AMV contest of Anime North 2008. The challenge at this contest was to create a video using only still pictures from anime or manga, a video that was not a simple slide show.
  
  The basis for this video is a certain iconic scene from Star Wars. This scene is so well known I didn't even attempt to spring it on the viewer as a surprise. There's no way to hide an imminent train wreck. Consequently, the video is short, simple, and direct. And by its nature, not very inspiring.
  
  Of course, most parodies are only fun the first (or second) time. Whether this is a parody of Evangelion or Star Wars - I'll leave it to the viewer to choose.
  
  Tech notes: the Evangelion pictures are from the TV show even though they are black and white. If the music seems like an afterthought, it was. Contrary to typical practice, I chose the music last of all and after the video section was mostly completed.
