• Comments: Okay, so, first I need to clearly say here:
  
  THIS VIDEO HAS NO POINT.
  
  Do not look for a reason this video exists. There is no such reason. Now, with that out of the way, I can explain the original idea and the references at work here in the video. The video was originally conceived when I realised that my students could not understand the videos I made because they required being able to listen to the song lyrics with native level fluency or many, many years of study of the English language. In a nutshell, my students could not watch my drama or romance videos, because they did not understand how the lyrics tied in. So I decided I would create a video that used a language neither of us could understand yet found amusing when lip synced and used aurally, as opposed to lyrically. I then chose Rammstein, because I always find it a good soundtrack to odd amvs. I noticed the number of Hidamari Sketch videos were.... welll... nonexistent. Plus, it is recent series that is known by my students and teachers alike. Finally, I just wanted an excuse to toss in Obama. So, I did. Anything else I did was because I wanted to remove the rules I usually apply to myself. The end goal was really to make my students laugh at the whacky video I made.
  
  Now, as the video developed, I did indeed put some obscure political references into the video. The title itself is the largest joke. It has three main meanings: Obamanation is like abomination, which many already think the video is. Then the video is a reference to the Obama Nation, the United States as it will be with Obama as President. Third, and this is where I get really obscure and political, it is a reference to Jerome Corsi, a right wing conservative whack job who wrote a book called "The Obama Nation and the Cult of Personality." In this book, he alleges that the Democrats are essentially brainwashing voters into accepting a communist dictator into the White House. It is primarily Corsi's viewpoints I am parodying when I present the video as a secretly obtained mechanism to brainwash Otaku conattendees into voting for Obama and vilifying McCain. I do not expect anyone (other than Walter Amos, which he did!) to get this, and I mostly did it for my own amusement. There is also a clear reference to when Obama got jumped on for saying that due to the country's economic woes caused people to cling to "guns and religion."
  
  There also references to other editors. AquaSky and Fall_Child42 make appearances, as does a reference to anyone involved TYHMG. Zephyrstar is homoaged with the funky backgrounds, and the A-M-V.org web address is included on the board. Koopiskeva was supposed to be referenced, but I never did include his avatar, although I did ask permission from him. He is included among the betatesters list.
  
  Blank your mind, don't ask why while you watch, just watch. It's much less painful that way.
