• Comments: Well, this day has been a long time coming. After all the years of being on this site and downloading thousands of AMVs, I finally went and made one. Since this was my very first AMV, I think I probably should have done something a bit easier. Granted, since I was using video game footage, that first leg of getting all the video was the simple part. The rest of the process...not so much.
  
  I had originally planned for this video to include Wild Arms 5, but then discovered that WA5 has no anime-style opening or closing. -_-* But I made do without it. Frankly, I could have used the extra footage. I had anime openings from Wild Arms 1-4, plus the opening and some of the closing from the Wild Arms 1 remake on the PS2. That amount didn't afford me a lot of flexibility in what clips were going into the AMV. The Wild Arms 4 game had no clean opening either, so there were some nice clips I would have liked to use, but they had stupid credits on them. And I'm not nearly savvy enough to get rid of those on my own.
  
  Between the tightness of the material I had available, plus having to switch computers when the old one died, then finding out that Magix Movie Editor Pro 12 would not work with Vista (even though it states ON THE BACK OF THE #$%^ing box that it is supposed to), I seriously wasn't sure I would even get this AMV done. But I downloaded the trial version of Movie Editor Pro 14 and managed to finish up things from there. Took me another few months to get the darn thing encoded into a new format for distribution. I think at that point I was just being lazy. So, the whole process probably took about 7 months. XD
  
  So, is this AMV good? It's hard to say from this end. I've worked on it for so long that I'm probably disillusioned with it by now. So, I'm really not someone who can view it properly anymore. But there are certainly parts that I like. And I'm just proud in general to have gotten it done. Once I get a new editing program, I have tons of other ideas as well...
