AMV opener for the the 1st ever Anime Crossroads, Indy's 1st Anime Con
Please read info below
Anyway this is the AMV opener for the 1st ever Anime Crossroads. I found out about the con earlier that year, also that it was no more then 20 minutes from my house, so I already knew I was going to it. Right after I quit my job in August I realized "Crap...how am I going to afford to go to the con?" then happen to see Jub's opener she did for Kawaii-con and I thought "Maybe I can do that for the con, and maybe get a discount on admission!" So on my 21st brithday I went to the staff meeting, only to find out that the con chairs were the same guys who asked Jub to do the opener for Kawaii. So they were more then happy of my offer and I was signed on as staff for it. It was pretty cool seeing how a con is set up from there.
Needless to say it was very well received at the con. I mean its just a run-of-the-mill fun AMV with no point but to look fun. Even our guest loved it. So I'm happy, hear everyone cheer during the video and the crowed going wild after it was over, it was kinda surreal. Afterwards people came up to me and I felt like I was more of a guest then staff, it was amazing and I plan to do it again next year. From here I could really care less with comments since the video did want I wanted it to do, be enjoyed, in the end thats all I want is to be enjoyed, not nit-picked for stupid crap.
I want to thank the staff at Across for being super awesome and letting me make this. I also want to really thank everyone who saw this video and cheered and enjoyed this, you have no idea how happy I was to hear you guys. Really thank you for letting me be part of the 1st Anime Crossroads and I hope to see you guys for years to come. Also to the IAC for letting me borrow DVDs for footage, wouldn't haven't been able to make it without you guys.
Also for the credits I wanted the con to be part of the credits so thanks to everyone who let me stop them and ask "Can I video type you saying (anime here)" However not all made the video cause I have a crappy camera and I didn't even hear some of you guys, so I'm sorry again for those who didn't make it but still thank all you guys.
Anyway I just want people to enjoy it, and they did. So...yea, this and this
are really the only thing I need to hear for this video.
Hope you guys like it anyway, I'll have more videos soon.
