    In order to celebrate the con's sixth year in operation, Music (with emphasis on Rock) was chosen to be the theme of Momocon 2010. This is due to the fact that the Japanese word for "six" is "roku". And since "roku" sounds similar to the English word "rock", the two are sometimes jokingly associated with each other.

    As the AMV Assistant Director of Momocon, I decided to make this "Roku and Roll" AMV in order to serve as the intro to Momocon's 1st annual AMV exhibition. It revolves around not only Rock and Roll, but also the number six. But since the connection to the number six is a less noticeable, I decided to uses six different anime sources throughout the video (Ah! My Goddess, Kannagi, K-On!, Myself ; Yourself, Shugo Chara, and Soul Eater).

    Editing this AMV was a very nice change of pace for me. I usually make AMVs with very sad stories or little to no action, so at first, it was a bit challenging trying to sync all the scenes. But because of this, I've gained a new found respect for action AMV editors.

    Lastly, this is a edited version of the video that Premiered at Momocon.
