• Comments: After much coaxing from Arashinome, I decided to finish out the video I made for the 1st round of the DZ Studios IC Tournament. There was one problem though: at the rate I was using up action scenes from Vampire Hunter D, I was going to need to incorporate more sources in order to keep the original pacing. I decided that it would be best style-wise to use sources from roughly the same era and animation style. That's how I wound up with Demon City Shinjuku and Wicked City.
  
  As for the name, the 'old school anime violence' just kind of popped in my head after settling on additional sources (not that I really consider anime from the late '80's/early '90's old school; but it has a nice ring to it). For whatever reason, the title reminded me of "Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!"; so I tacked on 'a go go' for the hell of it.
