Won Best Romance at EXP CON 2010! :)
This project began back in 2007, a joint creative and technical effort with my best friend and myself. Love Comes in 3s is an upbeat romantic-comedy paralleling the love triangles in both Fushigi Yuugi and Fruits Basket. The song is a favorite of both of ours, especially this version done by Steven Curtis Chapman. The lyrics worked really well with both series and I loved showing the guys vying for their love interest play off the lines "I will walk 500 miles" and then "and I will walk 500 more."
Why did this AMV take so long? Despite the many hours spent, problems such as changing computers, losing the hard drive, finding the hard drive but then not having the programs installed on my computer or enough RAM delayed us. Needless to say I was on a big AMV hiatus. And this was the AMV that was ever so close to being finished... but wasn't. So a few months ago I thought it was ridiculous to let another year go by, so getting everything set up again on my computer and another month later we finally finished
