I had been working on another video for the past year with a similar concept, just done in a much more tongue in cheek way. After a day of working on it this song, which I have known and loved for years happened to be the next thing on my playlist and I more or less laughed to myself of how if my current video wasn't a comedy, the theme would go great with this song... And then I remembered Perfect Blue.
Overall this is one of the fastest editing jobs I've done from start to finish with about 2 hours editing time. The video took much longer however as this movie came out in 1998 and the quality was rather poor. I got my hands on the bluray and redid it scene for scene but even the blueray wasn't that great and tried my best to improve the quality the best I could.
I entered the video into AWA pro because it was going off at around the time I finished it. It was a finalist for the adult category but seeing as it's not a hentai vid I didn't really think it was the right place for it.
