Happy year of the rabbit! =D (I'm about a month too early to say that, but I just found out about that a couple days ago and it seemed convenient XD)
I wasn't intending on finishing this, it started out as just a distraction from a birthday MEP I was working on, but then I felt bad and decided to get it done anyway lol.
A straight forward action vid focusing on the awesomeness that is King Kazma. He's really the reason why I decided to watch Summer Wars, he's just so cool 8D I can only hope this vid emmulates that XD
This...REALLY shouldn't have taken as long as it did to finish seeing as its under 2 minutes, but I guess the combination of my slow editing, finals, plus working on this during the holiday season really took a toll. I was hoping to get it done before the end of the year so that I could've released my first AMV for 2010 (seriously...), but apparently 2010 wanted to be the year of the MEPs for me XD
This is the first AMV I've made with After Effects (not solely, that'd be an utter pain...), albeit the effects I used probably could've been done in something like Sony Vegas ;p but it was fun dabbling in it. The only thing that wasn't fun was the masking. My GOSH, the masking. I'll admit it's more convenient doing it right in AE, but it doesn't make it any less annoying XD I got better at it as I worked so that's a plus I guess.
So! My first AMV of 2011. Here's to a new year~
