Comments:
To sum up this video quickly, this is my take on a parody of sorts on dance amv's (alternatively it could be looked at as a gag dance video). For quite a while I had been wanting to make a dance video, just to try making something different. However, I've noticed that a large chunk of dance videos use a lot of the same stock dance scenes. So I wanted to make a dance video that didn't rely on these scenes and, to a minor extent, lampoon them. With that concept in mind, the first song that popped into my head was "The Wilbury Twist" by The Traveling Wilburys; which I thought would work really well for what I wanted to do. The song itself is pretty goofy, so that lent itself to the video having a lighthearted, silly tone. A good number of the gags are video game related/inspired (and there were several that didn't make the final cut either; they were relics from an earlier project that I scraped).
