About a year ago, when I first thought about this combination, I frantically searched youtube and amv.org to see if it had been done before. The moment I found out the idea had never been touched, my mind screamed "I CALL IT!" and I began editing right away. However, as excited as I was, I couldn't bring myself to finish it because the song was more fun/upbeat. I had become so used to the slower drama/romance pace that my earlier knack for fast songs had disappeared. Two weeks ago, I decided to take the project out of the graveyard thinking, "What the heck! It was a good idea! Let's do it just for the novelty of it." Thus, I started from scratch, making all new clips with a better codec, and settled for the fact that it wasn't going to be my best. It was just for fun! So... "R.O.L.L!" exists merely as one GIANT pun that I hope many enjoy. Most people watch this anime and interpret it so seriously. But to me, the film is just as lighthearted and funny as it is poignant and austere.
