I guess this is my attempt at a 'normal' amv, using what's in the series without twisting or taking anything out of context. The vid looks at Shido's past, his dealings with his vampire nature, and his relationships with both Cain and Riho, meaning shonen ai *and* het warnings. This vid was meant for those who've seen the series, so anyone who hasn't should expect spoilers - mostly of Shido's past, and the last episode.

This was a very hard series to work with, mostly because of the few fight scenes, the extensive drama, and the irritating interlaced story-board panels interrupting most of the best scenes. It may have only been the dvds I have, but I found the storyboards very tiresome to work with. The song-choice, while I think the lyrics and idea fit perfectly, was also a little too fast in places for the scenes I had to work with. I blame my movie makers for the result - they couldn't speed the clips and retain the visibly fast quality. I'm not sure which maker is to blame for the large size, Windows Movie Maker or Showbiz, but the length of the song may have had something to do with it.
The footage was compiled, edited and linked to the music using WMM 2.0, and the final video was produced using Showbiz.
