  My video for the first round of The Quickening Tournament Round 1. We were given 1 week to edit to a song we were given and this is what I came up with... drills and umbrellas... guru-guru-guru-guru x3
  
  I'm honestly pleased with the song I got for the first round! Seeing a trending song choice of fail from the last group songs that were chosen, I was really hesitant.. but I'm glad to have edited a song I sorta like! (Managed to sneak in a umbrella too x'D)
  
  Some people were asking me, "How does Gurren Lagann relate to this song?" Basically, other than me trying to stray away from doing a typical romance (and having the urge to edit with the anime), I was trying to go for a more action approach seeing as the song is sorta action-y compared to the original! (For clarity for those who haven't seen the anime [u crazies ._.] It follows the storyline of Simon and how after his big bro Kamina , leader and huge influence for the huge rebellion group Team Gurren, dies, Simon has to take his place following under his footsteps by taking the leader role while being pressured to be just like Kamina. Sorta like, 'under my wing' if that makes any sense!
