After falling in love with Chihayafuru I couldn't help but edit away. I absolutely loved the animation and was psyched to work with such beautiful artwork. However, I wanted to make the sport of Karuta seem epic (even more so than shown in the anime). I decided to create an Action AMV (something I have not dabbled with for awhile). Sandstorm by Darude definitely fit in with this sense of "epicness" I was planning so I mixed in a dubstep version with some Waterflame to flesh out the AMV. Honestly, this is meant to look a bit cheesy, but also serious. It almost came out as a Comedy AMV, but I saw more potential in this Action-feel.
