  The title says what it means and means what it says...pretty much because I couldn't think of anything more clever. I'd been meaning to create a trailer for years, but I just couldn't figure out what I wanted to do. Then more recently I'd seen the Fast & Furious 6 trailer and really enjoyed it. And all of a sudden an idea clicked. Thanks to my Iron Editor experience I was able to figure out a source that I wanted to use. Though I'm pleased overall with how it turned out, the most important thing was that I had fun making it. It was also refreshing to make a completely new AMV outside of Iron Editor.
  
  With this one I debated about whether I wanted the trailer to match Valkyria Chronicles story wise or if I wanted to use characters that matched the voices better. For those of you familiar with the series, my first version actually had Welkin as the Vin Diesel character, but that didn't test as well with my beta viewers because he's too "pretty" to sound the part, so I switched him out for who I believe visually matches the voice better, though I still wanted to establish Welkin as the love interest. I hope that wasn't too confusing to follow.
  
  But yeah, for my first trailer I found it to be a different animal to tackle compared to pure music because you have to adhere pretty closely to what's happening in the audio and you have to hope both the audio and visual sources translate well enough to tell a whole new story. I now have a whole new level of respect for trailer AMVs. I enjoyed the challenge and look forward to making more when the mood strikes.
