  • Comments: Like so many others, I had become a slave to the Ikea nesting instinct.

    This is a weird idea I got one day that turned out better than expected. There are not many trailer AMVs for this movie, considering its iconic status. Masa and Mikado are the right personalities and even the right hair color for Tyler Durden and The Narrator, and of course there's lots of fighting. Mikado never punches Masa, or anyone else, so I had to cheat with that bit.

    The Penguindrum clip is in there because The Narrator's power animal is a penguin, and penguins appear briefly in the original trailer. Also, I figure it'll get a laugh. The Shatner bit at the end is there because people would feel cheated if they didn't see Shatner getting punched.

    All the Ikea products listed are real.

    DRRR is the standard abbreviation for Durarara!!
