• Comments: This video features Hiei, and despite the title, you don't get to see the scene where Hiei 'offs' himself. The idea of this is that Hiei fights for a reason, always. At first it was to find his mother's teargem, and then it was to find Yukina. But as those who've seen the Makai arc know, without those two goals, Hiei doesn't have anything to live for. After he's found those things, he fights for a different reason - just to be fighting, to be moving forward to the inevitable end, which he thought he'd managed in his fight against Shigure. Well, this takes that suicidal tendency of his and plays with it for all it's worth. In this amv, Hiei's fighting for a number of reasons, particularly in the beginning when he's still in search of the teargem, but eventually he moves to the point where he's only fighting until he can match up against someone stronger than him. And, unfortunately, that someone isn't Shigure at all, it's Mukuro. Yes, I dislike her, and that final battle, but I've cut it down to a mere flash. The rest of the video views as something of a 'generic' action amv - hence the choice of song. This song really lends itself to the video, considering the 'truth' Hiei's looking for is death, and the 'open my mind' can be linked to clearing his mind - an absense of memories, also found in death. Ah, such a cheery idea for a video. But it caps Hiei's major battles, with a few flashbacks to give a feel for what he's thinking along the way. And I had some fun with the timing, but nothing too special. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this one.
  
  SONG: I chose this song on purpose, after looking through my collection for the perfect 'over-done' song. I wanted to play with timing and action and didn't want to waste a brandnew song with my poor editing skills. ^_^ And anyone who doesn't like LP doesn't have to download.
