The video is an action amv depicting Takamura Mamoru in Hajime no Ippo showing the hardships he faced and the friendships he gained on his road to becoming the world champion. This is my second amv and I put around 3 months of effort into making this. For those who have seen my first amv, hope I have made some improvement.
The amv is intended for those who have watched both Hajime no Ippo and Hajime no Ippo: New Challenger. Of course, it can also be viewed by others for its various amv elements but you might not understand some clips. To my greatest dismay, I had to cut down the song but the reasoning is that a very long action video is quite difficult to follow.
The idea behind the amv is to capture both Takamura's love for boxing as well as show his personality and the friends he has gained after picking up boxing. He always had the natural talent to become a successful boxer but it is thanks to the coach that he discovered boxing. He is a damn hilarious person and he naturally has a lot of friends, but at the same time, he can also be very stubborn.
In a way I wanted to portray these aspects of Takamura and truly show how champions are made! Hope you enjoy this video. Regardless, don't forget to rate and leave an opinion.
