SH127 was ideated right about when I got the record; Anohana was current at the time and the thematic match was too good to walk away from. However, between one thing and another, I didn't do any work on it at all for like four years, which turned out to be a good thing; the experience acquired in the interim, especially doing the Flag of Hate, was essential to making this come out correctly.
Shin Hats Self Grade: A-. This nearly turned out exactly the way I wanted it to, with nearly all of the shortfall coming from desired cuts that did not actually exist in the source.

about the music: Black Harvest is a melodic doom-death band from either New York or North Carolina, depending on when you ask; this song is off their probably-strongest record, 2010's Ingrate. The bit under the trailer card is from the intro to "Wake", an earlier song on the same record. The video title is taken from the song of the same name by Obsidian Tongue; someone other than me is going to have to be the one who wrestles that nine and a half minutes of third-wave black metal into video form.
