  • Comments: This project is our first venture into AMV creation; we began work on it in January of 2003 and completed it at the end of April. The inspiration for this music video spawned directly from the Xenogears OST track, "Small Two Of Pieces", a powerful and moving song which masterfully intertwined with the conclusion of Xenogears' own riveting storyline. The melody and poetic lyrics of this piece have an elegance all their own, and provided the perfect framework for the vision we wished to pursue. As we set out to realize this vision, we considered the greatest challenge to be the creation of a video which did not feature any of the more comedic aspects of Love Hina. While we loved the series for its humor, the real guilty pleasure of this anime was the confusing, irrational, and ever-evolving relationship between Keitaro and Naru. With that in mind, we strove to capture the essence of this more serious side of Love Hina, and in a manner that would tell its own engaging and coherent story. ~Restored Pieces~ is the result of our ambition. We hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it.
