My very first AMV! I hope you like it & leave constructive comments! As I was working on it a bit from a poem kept cropping up that I think really summarizes where the video ended up for me. The poem is "The Second Coming" by Yeats, and the excerpt is as follows:
"Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity."
I basically started knowing nothing with this video. Thankfully with the help of l33tmeatwad (my husband), kireblue and other incredible editors, I can say that I'm really proud of how it turned out. There isn't much here in the way of technical finesse, but the story came through and that was really my goal.
