Anime Detour 2018 AMV Contest: BEST IN SHOW!!!
^^^This is a really big deal to me. Anime Detour 2007 was my first anime convention ever, and also the first time I had ever watched an AMV. When I left the con that year, I decided on two things:
1. I would start making AMVs of my own.
2. My only goal would be to someday win Best In Show at Detour's AMV contest.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. And keep trying. For eleven years. You'll get there eventually, and you'll learn a lot along the way. You may even make some new friends, too!
I owe a lot to Anime Detour for sticking with me over all this time, and continuing to play these crazy videos I make. The last eleven years have been one helluva ride - here's to eleven more!
