• Comments: This is one of those videos that I felt needed to done in some form or another.
  
  After a summer with nothing really interesting for me, I was looking forward to the titles of the Fall 2020 anime season, with one of the shows that I had on my radar being Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle. While some of cute character designs caught my interest (I wish I had a Teddy Demon of my own), there was also the possibly that the humor of the series could result in some clever music video ideas, and while I had other video game music in mind when thinking of possibilities, all it took was one episode to really get my AMV juices flowing.
  
  One of the main recurring themes of the series involves the titular character, Princess Syalis, using her time as the role of the damsel in distress to get some sleep, with much of the show's humor coming all the chaos she causes in her quest for quality sleep. Case in point: when trying to make better bed sheets, the Princess notices the cloak that one of the workers is wearing (which turns out to be a literal bed sheet ghost) and, armed with a giant pair of scissors that she got from a scissors-based demon in exchange for her crown, she goes around the castle looking for it. Watching that moment, I knew that I had to set this series to the music of Clock Tower, a horror video game franchise involving a killer that also uses a giant pair of scissors.
  
  While I do want to do a longer concept if possible (as of writing only three episodes have aired), I did manage to find a shorter version of the Scissorman music cue online, and I felt that I should at least use that to do an AMV Hell-like "proof of concept" video using footage from the first episode.
