As a big fan of Armitage III, I was disappointed at how few videos there really were with this anime. Therefore, after another re-watch of the OVA and the movies, I came up with the idea to make an homage to Naomi Armitage and her family.
Some of the effects work were inspired by scenes that I felt needed for adding some story flow, such as adding Naomi jumping as the helicopter fires at her, and adding a new "sun" behind the dark outdoor scenes with Ross Sylibus and their daughter Yoko so that the interior scenes (which are well lit up) would flow properly. It is the first time I had actually made an artificial light source. Other small digital edits tie the whole video together (including a "blink-and-you'll-miss-it shot at the very beginning that provided the motivation for Naomi's "revenge" in the middle of the video).
