  • Comments: I've wanted to do a Gokudo video for so long, and when I heard Queen's "I Want it All," I knew I had my song. It's perfect not only for the character of Gokudo but for the individualist perspective that the anime takes in general.
    Gokudo-kun Manyuki is DEFINITELY one of my favorite anime, yet so few people have seen it. This will be my highest quality video ever (that is until I make a better one); it's also my first AMV using direct-from-DVD footage.
    This video is about Gokudo's desire to have everything, and how he's perceived by the people he travels with. They accuse him of being selfish, but they don't realize how alike they all are. Through this video we see that Gokudo is no more selfish than any of his friends, and that everybody "wants it all."
    Things that are great about making this video:
    1) I freaking LOVE this anime
    2) High-as-hell quality footage (I hope)

    Things that are a pain in the butt:
    1) I looked for hours for an encoding program before realizing that VirtualDub would do the job
    2) Filesize too big to make grabbing footage fast and/or convenient
