This is probably the music video I best known for, although after watching it many times over, there are a LOT of errors I've found, but people still seem to enjoy it. I put a lot of effort into this music video. I love the relationship between Syaoran and Sakura, and seeing as the second Card Captor Sakura movie focuses on their developing relationship and the problem, I built this music video around it. It focuses both on the plot of The Enchanted Card as well as the relationship between Sakura and Syaoran during the movie. This is also my first attempt at making a music video to a slow song.

The song starts slowly and mysteriously, so I tried to start to match the music, not revealing the plot of the Sealed Card until the second verse begins. I tried to time the change of scenes to the piano when possible, or as I did a bit later, make the scene the brightest at each note strike.

At about 2:20, a strange flute comes in that seems mysterious. I thought when both Sakura and Li see the Sealed Card for the first time, it fits the music.

At 3:35, the song goes more upbeat, and I used clips from the end of the movie, when Sakura loses all of cards and all of her friends. It was hard to time all the different drum beats during the upbeat part of the song, as well as the end when Sakura jumps over the gap towards Li, because I also had to edit out the subtitles there, and time it so it matched the end of the song.

One of the hardest things I had to do, as I just mentioned, was edit out the subtitles. There were at least four occasions where I wanted to use a scene so bad, that I took individual still frames, and edited the still frames in Adobe Photoshop, easily putting a black block over the subtitles on the widescreen. But, it was well worth the effort because you can't tell where they were edited out. ^.^

After a lot of thought, I've decided to retire this video. I think it no longer is a good representation of my video editing skills, and while it is what I'm best known for, I want to move onto bigger and better video projects. I never figured this video would become as well as known as it has among the CCS community and it means a lot to me. When I get the whole series on DVD, you can definately expect a remake of this video! Thanks everyone for downloading this video!
