• Comments: First, this may not be romance to some. I think you can easily see this as a purely 'friends-only' video. But you can also take it as shonen ai (see the lyrics "hint of the century" and the use of the 'Moonlit Battle' scene ^_~ ). Either way, the vid looks at Kenshin and his feelings toward Sanosuke and their relationship. Namely, on the fact that peace never lasts very long before they're tossed into battle. And since Kenshin is the protective type, he holds himself responsible for Sano (hence the "an eye on you" lines). The real 'dream' theme comes into play when you compare their 'quiet times' with the frenzy of Kenshin's fighting - in comparison to Kenshin as a fighter/battousai, those soft moments really do have a dreamlike quality. So the title - it's just a dream compared to reality (Kenshin as a swordsman/battousai), but it's a dream he'd like to stay in if possible since reality is much colder.

  There are currently two videos available for this song, none for this anime. I wanted to enlarge on the theme I used in my 'Keep Trying' vid (since that was in Japanese and lacked lyric sync) and this was the best song I could find to tell the story I had in mind. The pace is odd and difficult to sync to (too fast for me), but definitely worth it for the lyrics.
