  • Comments: This video is dedicated to Rose Thorne. It's an odd angsty video that looks at Youko Kurama and his feelings toward Hiei. Specifically, the vid shows Youko Kurama's bad history of ruined partnerships, and even though Hiei and his human aspect seem to suit each other, Hiei has already suffered too much for him to take the risk.

    Personal Notes:
    I've never played with the 'forbidden child' angle, or really used the idea that Youko Kurama and ningen Kurama might view Hiei differently. In this video I do both, and I blame a number of angsty fics that reminded me of Kurama's darker history as a Youko who uses and discards people when he's finished with them. With Hiei's tormented past, any attempt at getting close to him would be too risky. This vid looks at that conflict between Kurama's human and youko aspects.
